Mediation and Arbitration are now an accepted part of Texas civil litigation for Judges, attorneys and parties. Judges faced with extended periods of litigation and crowded dockets order or refer litigants to mediation or arbitration knowing the benefits it offers both in the form of time and expense savings. Parties benefit by quicker resolution of their differences.
Attorneys benefit their clients by resolving disputes in a timely and economic manner. Judges move their dockets so more cases can come before the Court. The world of litigation has hopefully improved as a result of mediation or arbitration. With the efforts of all involved in the processes, parties are now able to bring closure much more quickly. With a strong effort by everyone, cases can and will get settled quickly and benefiting everyone.
